COVID-19

Loudmouth has been safely working throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. At the peak of the pandemic we used the time to create pre-recorded versions of our performances for teachers to play to their pupils in the classroom. We also adapted our offices into studios, where we can run our virtual workshops that follow up the filmed dramas. So we have been very busy!

We've been safely working back in schools and colleges and we will continue to follow government advice (Department for Education and Public Health England), local council guidance and school's own COVID-19 policies and procedures to ensure that we are running our programmes as safely as possible in venues. The safety of our staff and the staff and pupils in the schools and colleges we visit, is our priority.

We have adapted our programmes and work practices to ensure the safety of all involved. Here are some of our COVID safety measures:

  • Each session is risk assessed and will accommodate each venue's COVID-19 safety measures.
  • Flexible formats are available to schools and colleges including online options in the event that a live session can't happen at short notice.
  • Workshops can be socially distanced and we can work with class bubbles.
  • Wearing of masks where required.
  • Washing/hand sanitising regularly.
  • Ensuring rooms are ventilated.
  • Weekly COVID testing of staff.
